Prop Firm News: Live Capital, Pass Rates & VPN Bans

Live capital is becoming a stronger differentiator, but the real allocations remain modest.
Funded Futures Network launched FFN Institution, moving approved simulated traders onto $3,000 of company capital with a 90/10 split. Review begins automatically after a fourth payout from one account, closing the trader’s simulated accounts regardless of the outcome. The model offers a credible route to live execution, although post-payout drawdown terms and professional data fees remain unpublished.
Pass-rate disclosure says more than another record payout headline.
Blue Guardian reported $6.31 million paid across 4,569 transactions in September, averaging $1,379.54 per payout. It also disclosed forex pass rates of 11.44% for Phase 1 and 31.10% for Phase 2. The figures are company-reported and unaudited, while the payout count is not unique traders, but the inclusion of denominators sets a more useful transparency benchmark for the industry.
Infrastructure controls are becoming product rules.
Goat Funded Trader now prohibits VPNs, VPSs, proxies and other hosted environments during trading on all accounts. Detection results in a straight breach, with related payouts deemed ineligible; only an initial-login exception is permitted in limited cases. The restriction materially affects traders running EAs on virtual servers and shows how IP and device monitoring are becoming central to prop-firm compliance, account-sharing controls, and payout decisions.
